Melbourne – Pitch Charter Buses

Our Charter Buses are the safest and most sustainable way to travel to and from Pitch.

You will have the option to choose your departure time and date, which must align with your Festival Entry Ticket. Please consult the departure and return times below.

Ararat Station Shuttle Bus
There will be a shuttle bus from Ararat Station to the Pitch site. Tickets can be purchased for the following times.
Departure times: Ararat Station → Pitch
Friday 5th March 1:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm
Saturday 6th March 1:15pm, 3:00pm
Sunday 7th March 2:00pm
Return times: Pitch → Ararat Station
Monday 8th March 10:00am, 3:00pm
Tuesday 9th March 8:00am

 

Please keep in mind:

  • You must arrive at your departure location 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time — the bus will not wait for you.
  • If a route or timeslot sells less than 50% of tickets, we will unfortunately be forced to cancel that bus. In this case, ticket holders will be automatically refunded.
  • All ticket sales are final — once you have purchased your Bus Pass we cannot swap or change the time or route of your pass.
  • Sharing is caring so baggage limits apply! Each passenger is entitled to bring 3 bags or equivalent — this could look like 1 bag, 1 suitcase or 1 tent — however, swags are not permitted to be brought onto the bus. Trolleys must be fully folded before arriving at the bus pickup area and will count as 1 bag towards your bag allowance.
Before You Travel

  • Ensure your mobile number and email address are accurate when booking so we can contact you with any updates or important information.

  • One-way trips are available, but must be charged at the full return fare.

  • Download or print your booking confirmation with QR code to present when boarding.

  • Confirm your departure time and location. Your booking confirmation lists the departure time and pick-up location, along with a Google Map pin.
